What Are Dental Veneers?
Fabricated from dental porcelain, dental veneers are wafer-thin shells bonded over the front portion of your teeth, to correct any number of dental irregularities. They can improve the color, shape, and size; camouflage damages such as chips and cracks; fill spaces; and straighten your smile by correcting the appearance of mildly rotated teeth. During your first visit, your teeth will be prepared by removing the slightest amount of tooth enamel for a flush fit. Next, impressions of the prepared teeth will be taken from which a master ceramist will fabricate your custom-crafted veneers.
When your veneers are completed, they will be checked for comfort, fit, shape, and color, then permanently bonded to your natural teeth. In just two visits you will have a completely new smile!
